The Hauptbahnhof in Munich has a big vending machine filled with arts and crafts goods you can purchase. Prices range from €6-€30. There are things like earrings, pins, bags, inkjet prints on canvas, hats, pencil cases, etc...

I bought a set of handmade wooden salt and pepper shakers and some artist-made Munich postcards. Nothing in the machine was SUPER exciting or avant garde, but it's still a really cool idea that I wish more cities mimicked.
