06.25.11 - Train Stop Schnitzel

Published Jun 25, 2011, 11:55pm

Schnitzel Home

I had a little time to kill at the train station in Prague after I dropped off my car, so I had one last shitty cup of coffee and a little strawberry tart. They actually have some decent retail in the train station, so I walked around a bit. I really can't believe how much Europeans pay for Chuck Taylors. SO many people wear they here, and they cost almost twice as much as in the States. Suckers.

As with the rest of this bizarre Czech adventure, the train ride home was equally as much of a pain in the ass. I lost count of how many trains I had to switch to get home. Something like seven, i think. Again I had to take a bus over the border, but this time there were so many people that the bus driver had to make two trips. That meant that all of us had to wait almost an hour at the train station for the second half of the group to show up. We were driven through Babylon and the forrest of whores again though, which was pretty entertaining.

While I was waiting for the bus to get back, I managed to find a little hotel/restaurant that made me a schnitzel to go. Definitely the highlight of the 7.5 hour trip back to Munich.
