My buddy Ben was back in Munich after a weekend of woodworking, so we decided to grab dinner and a beer at Andechser am Dom. It's definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Munich. They always have great seasonal specialties. I had an amazing piece of pork with these delicious sliced peached on it. It came with a potato pancake and sugar snap peas. For dessert they had a plum cake just like my mom and aunts make. Everything was amazing. Plus, it's one of the few places in Germany you can get a really dark, full-bodied beer.

When I got home, I REALLY got to indulge. I found an ice cube tray in my apartment, soaked the dirty thing for a couple days, scrubbed it, and finally got to have an ice cold glass of ice water tonight. Bliss!
