Over the weekend we finished up our tests on the barley. We needed to see how is would respond to moisture. Today we actually dumped all the barley in the pilot malting setup, got a full tour, and started running the thing. 

It's a pretty amazing piece of machinery. Mostly automated though. We will basically have to check on it a couple times a day to take moisture and temperature readings, and rotate it from one bed to the other.
